1 cup buckwheat flour
1/4 cup ground flaxseeds
1/4 cup hemp flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
sea salt, to taste
1 banana, ripe
2 cups hemp milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup rolled oats
coconut oil, for cooking

Cooking Instructions

If using whole flax seeds and whole hemp, grind them beforehand in a spice or coffee grinder. In a bowl, mix the buckwheat flour, fla xseeds, hemp flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sea salt.

Use a food processor to mix together the banana, water, and vanilla extract while slowly adding the dry ingredients from the bowl. Once the mixture is smooth, transfer the batter back into the bowl and stir in the oat flakes with a spatula.

Lightly oil a pan with coconut oil (or cook in a non-stick pan) and heat over a medium flame. Pour 1/4 cup of batter (or more, to desired pancake size) and cook for 5 minutes or until bubbles appear. Flip and allow to cook another 5 minutes.
