The Unusual

Got an unusual survival tip/comment. Send it to me and I'll post it.

In nature you are either Prey or Predator.

You can eat dogs and cats... like the Koreans.

Locusts are said to taste like shrimps.

Snake... Tastes "just like chicken..."

Fired Frog Legs... another Tastes "just like chicken..."

Grasshoppers - In Oaxaca, they sell "chapulines" (grasshoppers) as a specialty. Kind of like really, really salty anchovies (if you can imagine anything saltier than anchovies.) In Africa they are fried in oil.

Clay - A special type of clay is eaten by some tribesmen in parts of Africa. The clay is very rich in minerals and is similar to a multi-mineral tablet.

Jell-O - What is Jell-O anyway? Then again, what is in a fruitcake?

Waterbottle Shoes

Culturally Offensive Things?

You know what offendeds Americans the most? What caused Americans to grimace and stutter and say "Uuuuu...gh!"? Something so simple and commonplace in Japan. Corn on pizza. And the Japanese don't like Rootbeer... they say it tastes like medicine.... Go figure.
